Privacy policy

This policy describes what www.labspr.com — the entry page to the Salud Medica portals — does and does not do. The destination portals carry their own privacy notice.

Scope

What follows applies only to this site: the labspr.com and www.labspr.com domains. It does not apply to the patient, provider, and laboratory portals, which run on other domains, require authentication, and handle protected health information under their own terms.

What this site does not do

  • It does not ask for or accept passwords or credentials of any kind.
  • It queries no clinical system and no data interface.
  • It neither receives, processes, nor stores lab results or any other health information.
  • It builds no visitor profiles and sells or shares no data with advertisers.

It is a redirection page. Its only job is to work out which portal a visitor belongs to and send them there.

What is stored in your browser

This site sets no tracking cookies. It saves two preferences in your own browser’s local storage, and neither is ever sent to our servers:

  • Your preferred language, Spanish or English.
  • Your theme preference, light or dark.

Both stay on your device. Clearing site data in your browser removes them and the page returns to its defaults: Spanish, light theme.

Usage analytics

We measure site usage in aggregate with Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights, to know how many people arrive, which portal they choose, and how quickly the page loads. That measurement uses no cookies and identifies no individual person.

When an email address travels in the web address — for instance in a campaign link that carries it to prefill the sign-in form — it is stripped from the address before any measurement data is sent. That removal happens in your browser, before the information leaves it.

Information forwarded to the portal

If you reach this site from a campaign link or a message from your laboratory, the address may carry data that is forwarded to the destination portal so the journey is not lost. The list is closed; anything else in the address is discarded:

  • Referral source, medium, and campaign (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign).
  • Name, phone, and email of the referring organization (org-name, org-tel, org-email).
  • Your email address, solely to prefill the sign-in form (email).
  • Your preferred language, so the portal opens in the language you chose here.

When a single-use access link lands on this site’s address, the token travels in the fragment after the number sign, which browsers never send to a server. This site passes it along to the patient portal without reading it and without logging it.

Connection security

The site is served over HTTPS only, with strict transport security enforced, a restrictive content security policy, and third-party framing forbidden. Camera, microphone, geolocation, and payment are disabled at the browser permission level.

Children

This site is not directed at children and collects no information from them. Access to a minor’s results is arranged through their laboratory, under the record-custody rules that laboratory applies.

Changes and contact

If this policy changes, the version published at this address is the one in force. For privacy questions, or to exercise a right over your information, write to Salud Medica naming the laboratory that processed your order.
